Need a more precise way of timing a transition.

The current form of timing a transition is inadequate!

Trying to use the sliding transition bar to get the proper timing of a frame transition is not precise enough for my needs. In fact it appears to be very inadequate and very amateurish at best. It is also very frustrating!!!!!! It's amazing that the people who wrote this program did not take just a bit longer to create a better tool for selecting the amount of time needed of a transition. Why this lack of engineering to an otherwise very good product?

Most of the other video editing programs I've used have very simple but effective ways to let you type in the amount of time you want for a transition. One program allowed me to time a transition down to a .001 of a second. Many of my film projects require split second transitions. Anything slower would often result in a poorly executed film.

When do you expect to have this issue resolved?

Thanks for the good news on the developments for an improved transition tool. When will the new version be available? Will I have to pay for an updated version of the tool just to get that feature? Could you please send me a patch? How precise will your engineers make the transition? As I mentioned before, anything less then a .001 of a second will not be good enough for many of your power users.

Again, glad that help is on the way!
